FPGA Boards & SOM Modules

LogikHaus supplies FPGA boards and FPGA-SOM modules from AMD Xilinx, Microchip and Altera, along with camera and sensor boards for video processing, robotics and machine vision. Every board is backed by our FPGA design services: our in-house FPGA and VHDL experts can take you from board selection to a working, verified FPGA design.

Custom FPGA Board Design

Need a board that doesn't exist off the shelf? We design custom FPGA boards and carrier boards for FPGA-SOM modules, then develop the FPGA logic on them. Our VHDL design and verification work covers video processing, DSP, communications and AI hardware, led by engineers with over 24 years of FPGA and ASIC design experience. Meet our FPGA and VHDL experts.

Want your own team to build these skills? Our FPGA design and VHDL courses cover synthesisable VHDL, simulation and testbenches, and the complete FPGA development flow.

FPGA Boards: Frequently Asked Questions

What is an FPGA SOM?

An FPGA SOM (system-on-module) is a compact board that carries the FPGA together with its power, memory and configuration circuitry. It plugs into a carrier board, so you can build your product around a proven FPGA core instead of designing that part of the board from scratch.

Can LogikHaus design a custom FPGA board for my product?

Yes. Alongside our off-the-shelf FPGA boards, we offer custom PCB design and FPGA design services, from board design through VHDL design and verification of the FPGA logic.

Do you provide VHDL and FPGA design support for these boards?

Yes. Our in-house FPGA and VHDL experts can develop and verify the FPGA design for your board, including video processing, DSP and AI logic. We also run VHDL and FPGA design courses if your own team wants to build that skill.
